中文摘要:电化学发光(ECL)是由电化学反应引发,通过一系列化学反应产生激发态发光体进而辐射发光的过程,其产生的方式主要有湮灭型电化学发光和共反应剂型电化学发光。ECL是一种表面限域的发光过程,其发光层的厚度主要由反应中间体在电极表面的分布决定。空间分辨测量能够直接测得激发态发光体、共反应剂自由基等中间体在电极表面附近的分布,进而解析ECL反应机理。该文首先简要介绍了ECL的研究进展和不同体系的反应机理,在此基础上,对空间分辨测量,包括扫描电化学显微镜、电化学发光显微成像技术和电化学发光自干涉光谱在解析ECL机理中的应用进行了总结。最后,对ECL机理解析中存在的问题及发展前景进行了展望。

Research Progress on Spatially Resolved Measurements for Decipherment of Ru(bpy)2+3 Electrochemiluminescence Mechanisms
Abstract:Electrochemiluminescence(ECL) refers to the luminescence process,in which excited luminophores are generated by electrochemical reactions and sequential chemical reactions.Generally,ECL can be generated through either the annihilation or the coreactant route,which is a surface-confined luminescence process.The thickness of ECL layer is controlled by the distribution of reaction intermediates near the electrode surface.Meanwhile,spatially resolved measurements are capable of directly measuring the distribution of excited luminophores or coreactant radicals in the vicinity of electrode surface,holding great promise for deciphering the ECL mechanisms.In this review,the research progress on ECL and the reaction mechanisms of different ECL systems are first briefly introduced.Then the applications of spatial resolution measurements,including scanning electrochemical microscopy,ECL microscopy and ECL self-interference spectroscopy in unraveling the mechanisms for ECL generation are summarized.Finally,perspectives and challenges in mechanistic studies of ECL generation are presented.
