Abstract:
A method for the rapid and high-throughput identification of fish species using thin-film biosensor chips was developed.Based on the parvalbumin gene,a set of universal primers and specific probes were designed for eight fish species including Turbot,Silvery pomfret,Tuna,Obscura puffer,Indigo hamlet,Hairtail,Large yellow croaker and Miniatus grouper. The assay, with the characteristic of high specificity and throughput, could produce signals visualized by the unaided eye without any specific instruments. And the detection limit reached to 0.1 ng/μL.This method provided an important technical means for identifying eight fish species, which could be utilized in rapid screening for fish adulteration.
