Abstract:
A method was established for the determination of total phosphorus in soil by microwave digestion/inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry with collision cell(CCTked).Under the optimized conditions, the internal standard method was used for quantitation, and the accuracy and precision of the method were verified by using the soil reference material. There existed a linear relationship for phosphorus in the soil sample in the range of 0-2 000 μg/L,with the method detection limit of 5 μg/L and a detection limit of 2.5 μg/g for the soil sample. The spiked recoveries for the soil matrix solution were between 94.0% and 103%.There were no significant differences when the results obtained were compared with that of the Mo-Sb anti spectrophotometry. The method was rapid, simple and sensitive, and was suitable for the determination of total phosphorus in soils.
