Abstract:
      A new method was developed for the determination of glycyrrhizic acid in cigarette by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS).The samples were extracted with methnol-5 mmol/L NH4Ac(4∶1) under oscillation,then separated on an Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-C18 column(2.1 mm×150 mm,3.5 μm).The glycyrrhizic acid was detected with HPLC-MS/MS under multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) mode,and quantified by the external standard method.The method had a good linearity(r2>0.999) in the concentration range of 0.05-2.50 mg/L.The recoveries of glycyrrhizic acid were in the range of 89.1%-105.0% with intra-day and inter-day relative standard deviations both not more than 5%.The limit of quantitation(LOQ) of method was 4.8 mg/kg.
