| Abstract: |
| Mass spectrometry imaging(MSI) as a novel molecules imaging technique,has made itself a powerful tool in biology and medicine research due to its inherent advantages of label free,simple sample preparation,and high throughput analysis.Ionization technology is the key and core of MSI.The development of novel ionization sources has greatly promoted the MSI applications.The principles and characteristics of current major MSI methods are mainly focused in this paper.Meanwhile,the MSI applications in tumor pathological diagnosis,biomarkers and drugs development are reviewed,and a reference for tumor clinical diagnosis is provided. |
