Abstract:
Fatty acids are one of the main energy sources for living organisms, and are also the main components of the cytomembrane skeletons. This paper summaries the classifications, methods for separation and mass spectrometric detection for fatty acids and their relationships with the occurrence and development of chronic diseases, and helps to obtain a deeper understanding for fatty acids′ involvement in the occurrence, development and prognosis of chronic diseases.
