Abstract:
Direct analysis in real time(DART) as an ambient ionization technique has been developed rapidly in recent years.DART combined with mass spectrometry(DART-MS) has become a popular analytical technique, and has been widely used in the field of forensic science, including food safety, explosive detection, toxicological analysis, drug analysis and pharmaceutical analysis, etc.Although conventional detection methods for pesticides have been very common, the introduction of ambient ionization-mass spectrometry can not only broaden the detection range, but also shorten the detection time. The working principle and conditions optimization of DART-MS and its applications in pesticides detection are reviewed in this article. Finally, the application of DART-MS in pesticide detection is briefly prospected.
